4-H HORTICULTURE JUDGING UPDATE

(New Horticulture Judging Plant List /ID Scorecard and Publication Lists)

Every few years revisions are made to the plant identification score card and publication list used for the Kansas 4-H horticulture judging contests. These revisions are made to help 4-Hers keep abreast of industry trends and extension recommendations.

The new id score card and plant publication list are available on the state 4-H web site.

These pieces will be used for all contests from this time forward. The plant identification score card that was distributed at the State 4-H Horticulture Contest in August contained a few errors that have been corrected. Please advise your coaches and 4-Hers to begin using these lists immediately.
